Someone is trying to kill a young redhead, but after being shot in the head she cannot remember her own name, let alone why anyone would want to hurt her. Then a body turns up, horribly mutilated. Wombat Guthrie, biker and drug dealer, has taken his last ride.

As "Red" slowly regains her memory, detectives Cardinal and Delorme begin to suspect that she may not be so innocent after all. And what of the mysterious markings found near Wombat's corpse - has he fallen victim to a voodoo-type cult or just another drug dealer with an appetite for murder?

Somehow Cardinal and Delorme must find the answers before the spirits claim their next human sacrifice.
