Our family has always had a passion for books—especially finding great deals on recycled ones (Mum, Barb, never passes up a bargain!). In January 2025, we brought together our love for books, commitment to sustainability, and IT expertise (thanks to Dad, Darren, our tech whiz) to create our website and in March 2025, we took over the Maitland Book Exchange store to give you the option of browsing books instore or online.

As a local, family-owned business, we believe in giving books a second life—helping readers find affordable stories while reducing waste. Our mission is simple: to make reading accessible, eco-friendly, and enjoyable for all.
